Should You purchase schedule 1 and/or schedule 2 products from a Seller who is an authorised distributor in terms of the Pharmacy Act 53 of 1974 [“the Act”], You are required to input Your loyalty card number for the respective store in which You intend to make the purchase in order for OneCart to procure the Products on Your behalf. You hereby expressly consent to Us and the Seller processing Your special personal information in compliance with the Act and hereby acknowledge that in the event that You do not furnish Us with this special personal information, We are precluded by law, from fulfilling Your order.

2. Marketplace Information

When We obtain information from You specifically to enable You to buy a service offered on our website by some other person, We assume that in giving Us Your information, You are also giving Us permission to pass it to the relevant person. Users who redeem Unilever coupons and brand choices permit OneCart to share their information with Unilever.

3. Your Domain Name and Email Address

This information is recognized by our servers and the pages that You visit are recorded. We shall not under any circumstances, divulge Your email address to any person who is not an employee or contractor of ours and who does not need to know, either generally or specifically. We do not presently associate such information with an identifiable person.

You hereby acknowledge that OneCart is not a medical professional and the Seller is considered a an authorised distributor of medication permitted to distribute medication other than Schedule 1 and 2 in terms of the Act and the request for over the counter medication is at Your sole and absolute election, We are further not responsible for the manner in which You use these products.

6. Financial Information Relating To Your Credit Cards

We [may] keep Your financial information to provide You with a better shopping experience next time You visit Us and to prevent fraud. These details are stored by Peach Payments, our Payment Gateway, in a PCI DSS level 1 compliant vault. Sensitive cardholder details are directly transmitted from users’ browsers to Peach Payments systems. Merchants staff and systems do not have access to complete card number details at any point in time, on Peach Payments platforms. We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates to verify our identity to Your browser and to encrypt any data You give Us when You buy, including financial information such as credit or debit card numbers. Our SSL certificate encryption level is 128-bit/256-bit. Whenever We ask for financial information, You can check that SSL is being used by looking for a closed padlock symbol or other trust marks in Your browser URL bar or toolbar. We take the following measures to protect Your financial information

6:1We keep Your financial information encrypted and stored on Peach Payments servers.

6:2We only store a token associated with those card details on our servers.

6:3Access to Your information is restricted to authorised staff only.

6:4If We ask You questions about Your financial information, We shall show partial detail [the first four OR the last four digits of the debit or credit card number], only enough to identify the card(s) to which We refer.

7. Credit Reference

To assist in combating fraud, We share information with credit reference agencies, so far as it relates to clients or customers who instruct their credit card issuer to cancel payment to Us without having first provided an acceptable reason to Us and given Us the opportunity to refund their money

8. Third Party Adverstising

Third parties may advertise on our website. In doing so, those parties, their agents, or other companies working for them may use technology that automatically collects Your IP address when they send an advertisement that appears on our site to Your browser. They may also use other technology such as cookies or JavaScript to personalize the content and to measure the performance of their adverts. We do not have control over these technologies or the data that these parties obtain. Accordingly, this privacy notice does not cover the information practices of these third parties.

9. Information We Obtain From Third Parties

Although We do not disclose Your personal information to any third party (except as set out in this notice), We do receive data that is indirectly made up from Your personal information, from software services such as Facebook. No such information is identifiable to You.

10. Content You Provide To Us With A View To Being Used By Third Party

If You provide information to Us with a view to it being read, copied, downloaded, or used by other people, We accept no responsibility for what that third party may do with it. It is up to You to satisfy Yourself about the privacy level of every person who might see Your information. If it is available to all the World, You have no control whatsoever as to how it is used

11. Calling Our Helpline

When You call our helpline, We collect Calling Line Identification (CLI) information. We use this information to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our helpline

12. Sending A Message To Our Support System

When You send a message, We collect the data You have given to Us in that message in order to obtain confirmation that You are entitled to receive the information and to provide You the information You need. We record Your request and our reply in order to increase the efficiency of our business/organization. We do not keep any personally identifiable information associated with Your messages, such as Your name or email address

When We receive a complaint, We record all the information You have given to us. We use that information to resolve Your complaint. If Your complaint reasonably requires Us to contact some other person, We may decide to give to that other person some of the information contained in Your complaint. It is a matter for our sole discretion as to whether We do give information, and, if We do, what that information is. We may use remarketing from time to time. This involves Facebook or some other supplier placing a tag or marker on Your website in order to be able to serve You an advert for our products/services when You visit some other website

We are subject to the law like everyone else. We may be required to give information to legal authorities if they so request or if they have the proper authorization such as a search warrant or court order.
